Program Update Notice

We are excited to share that all equestrian programs will now be held under our newly established 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Youth Riding Club of America (YRCA).
Youth Riding Club of America (YRCA) was created to expand access to equestrian education, mentorship, and horsemanship for underserved youth who might not otherwise have the opportunity to participate in these life-changing programs.
We offer English Hunter Jumper or Pleasure Lessons, Training, Camps, Horse Shows, Clinics, and more! Our lesson programs here at YRCA not only enhance riders' skills but also deepen their understanding of body mechanics and their impact on the horse's movement. We prioritize strengthening riders' mind-body awareness to achieve harmony with the horse. Understanding that students come from diverse backgrounds, we adopt a trauma-informed approach to build trust and create a supportive environment for all riders. Through these practices, we empower our students and help them feel comfortable in their interactions with horses.
Our lesson & camp programs play an important role in helping support this mission. Revenue from private lessons directly contributes to funding scholarships, educational programming, and mentorship opportunities for youth through YRCA.
By participating in lessons, you are also helping make equestrian education accessible to young riders who would otherwise not have access to horses, mentorship, and the life skills the equestrian world provides.
We are incredibly grateful for the continued support of our riders, families, and community as we grow this mission together.

PLEASE NOTE: All lessons and Camps will continue to be booked through the Riding Club of Austin site as usual.

Allie grew up riding in both the hunter-jumper and dressage worlds and has accumulated over 15 years of experience. Her riding career kicked off in southern California, where she developed her foundational skills. A family move to Bali, Indonesia allowed her the opportunity to train under several accomplished dressage professionals before her return to the US in 2014. She settled in Texas where she purchased her horse, Bentley, and began competing in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation. As an instructor, she strives to help her students build confidence, both in and out of the saddle, and to create meaningful relationships with their equine partners.

Ellie grew up riding as a hunter/jumper in Austin, TX, accumulating over 10 years of experience in riding, showing, and horsemanship. She attended the University of Washington as a biology major, where she competed in both hunt seat and western disciplines on UW’s IHSA team. Now back in Austin, Ellie divides her time between her passions for horses and science. As a trainer, she is dedicated to helping her students enhance their riding and horsemanship skills, whether they are riding for relaxation, aiming for competitive success, or anything in between.
Horses have always been Ashley's first love. Ashely started riding at five years old and spent years competing in eventing, dressage, hunter/jumper, and Western. Moved from Dallas just recently, she took a few years off from horses to become a full time cosmetologist. She is now back in the saddle and is excited to teach all ages how to horse back ride and share the love and therapy that horses can bring. Ashley can't wait to meet you!
Kate began her riding career in foxhunting and cross-country, where she discovered her passion for training both young and seasoned horses. When horses weren’t available, she turned her focus to dog training—eventually combining both while exploring Texas on horseback with her dog, Sadie. With 5 years teaching experience and 25 years of horseback riding experience on four continents, Kate brings a broad, inclusive perspective to her teaching. She fosters confidence, positivity, and strength in her students and looks forward to riding with you.
